The data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) is:
Cado bv, 3600 Genk, Belgium
Email: hello@demopost.net
Website: https://demopost.net
Application: https://app.demopost.net
Cado bv determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the public website demopost.net and to the early access application process offered through it, including the request form and any follow-up communications.
It does not govern the use of the DemoPost application itself once an account has been granted; separate terms and documentation apply to the use of the service.
3. Data we collect
Early access requests
When you submit an early access request, we process the following data that you provide:
- Your name;
- Your work email address;
- Your company or project name;
- The intended use cases you select (product demos, client testing, internal testing or other);
- The message channels you request (email, SMS or both);
- Any optional note or message you include.
Technical server logs
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure processes standard technical logs generated by server requests, which may include your IP address, the requested pages, the date and time of the request, your browser type and the referring page. These logs are used solely for the secure and reliable operation of the website.
We do not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies (see section 9), and we do not combine website visits with the content of early access requests for profiling purposes.
4. Purposes and legal basis of processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To receive, assess and respond to your early access request;
- To contact you about the onboarding process and the status of your request;
- To operate and secure the website and its hosting infrastructure.
The legal basis for processing your early access request data is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract, at your request) and, for follow-up communications regarding your inquiry and onboarding, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to prospective customers who have explicitly asked us to contact them). The legal basis for processing technical server logs is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure and stable website).
5. Retention
Early access request data is stored securely until access has been granted or your inquiry has been resolved, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless a longer retention is required by law or you have asked us to keep you informed about a future opening.
We do not add early access applicants to marketing mailing lists, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for unsolicited marketing purposes.
6. Data security and hosting
Submitted data is stored within secure backend database infrastructure. Access to this data is restricted strictly to authorised administrators of Cado bv and is protected by authentication and access controls. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
While no system can guarantee absolute security, we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.
7. Rights of data subjects
Under the GDPR you have the following rights with regard to the personal data we process about you:
- The right of access to the personal data we hold about you;
- The right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- The right to erasure of your personal data;
- The right to restriction of processing;
- The right to data portability;
- The right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@demopost.net. We will respond to your request without undue delay and in any event within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données):

8. Sharing of data
We do not sell your personal data. Your data is only shared with the hosting and infrastructure providers we rely on to operate the website and store submissions, and only to the extent necessary for those purposes. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are put in place in accordance with the GDPR.
9. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies. Any cookies or equivalent browser storage that may be used serve strictly functional or security-related purposes and are not used to profile you or to follow you across other websites.
